2008 project “Assisted voluntary return” with the 2007 funds of the European Refugee Fund.

The main purpose of the project was to continue and extend the activities of the pilot project “Informing, counselling and assisting persons applying for international protection and persons who have received international protection in their return to the country of origin" carried out with the support of the 2006 funds of the European Refugee Fund and Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Estonia by the Migration Foundation in 2007.

The main aim of the project was to support the return of the persons who have applied for international protection from Estonia and those who have received protection here.

More than before attention was given to related target groups – organisations and authorities that have contacts with the direct target group of the project. The aim was to increase the quality and spectrum of the offered services.

Duration of the project was 12 months – from January 2008 to the end of the year.
