Informing, counselling and assisting persons applying for international protection and persons who have received international protection in their return to the country of origin”, with 2006 funds of the European Refugee Fund
The aim of the project was to provide information regarding the possibilities of voluntary return to the project target group (asylum seekers, refugees, persons receiving supplementary protection and persons receiving temporary protection as well as persons to who the Republic of Estonia has refused to grant protection) as well as their assisting upon return.
During the project, activity practices and information materials were developed, project staff was trained and cooperation contacts were established with partners in the country and abroad. In 2007 in total 8 persons were counselled, of who one returned to his homeland with the help of the project. The co-financiers of the project were the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Estonia and the European Refugee Fund.
Duration of the project was 12 months – from the end of 2006 to the end of 2007.
